Grant Information All applicants for Dryden Youth Opportunity Fund grants must have non-profit sponsorship as required by the Community Foundation of Tompkins County, of which DYOF is a member. Applications will be reviewed by DYOF in accordance with their by-laws (Article II A-B). Projects must serve resident youth of Dryden and surrounding communities. Grants will be for projects focused in the areas of cultural and academic achievement, professional development, and general youth development, or projects that could not be initiated without supplemental financing. Dryden Youth Opportunity Fund grants are not intended to replace funding support for educational and extracurricular activities generally funded by the school district's operational budget. Grant Procedure The application form may be downloaded here. Fully complete the form and mail it and proof of tax exempt status to: DYOF (It is not necessary to include tax exempt proof if the sponsoring group is a municipality or school district.) Applications will be reviewed and awarded on a quarterly basis. All applicants will be notified by DYOF. Examples of possible grant ideas are:
